Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

My goodness. I can not explain enough how much I am loving this holiday season.
And this much needed break.
We left our home in Rexburg on December 19th for Texas.. And we're still here!
I am so grateful both of our families live 45 minutes apart. Sometimes it is hard splitting time, but for the most part it's the best of both worlds. We have been so busy with family!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend it with close friends and family!
I was super happy with these family cards, our first ones as a married couple!
This year has been PACKED! From engagement, to wedding, to graduation, to vacations, to newlywed life.
We are looking forward to 2015!

here's to 2014

2014. I really like typing and saying it.

2013 was a very rough year. Last year I did a 'year in review' post of 2012. I just didn't feel like it this time around. 2013 year dragged on and on. There have been hard, sad times from the passing of my father and grandmother to happy, exciting times when Eric came home from his mission.

But through it all there is one thing that I gained more of. An experience that I will always remember. Something that I cherish. There is a great love I can take away from 2013. My love for the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ was strengthened. Without it, I wouldn't of made it through 2013.

I already really like the way 2014 is going and the exciting plans/times ahead :)

Call me a New Years "scrooge" or "grinch" but I'm not really into making a new years resolution. I think that any day, any one of the 365 days of the year you can start something new or make a change. I'm grateful for 2012. I look forward to continuing the goals I have set for myself and setting new goals. The past 12 months held a lot of fun memories, good times and hard lessons for me. 2012 is where those belong and I'm thankful for it all. I'm so blessed. I look forward to the next 365 days and what they hold! Here's to 2013! :]
